AMPANG, Oct 20 — The three-day Kiddie CEO Event took place at The Campus Ampang from October 20th to 22nd. Initiated by Yanlin, owner of PLAYLAB, the event combined entrepreneurship, education, and Halloween fun, allowing children to become “little CEOs” and learn about cash transactions, communication, and teamwork through stall setup and play.

There were 20 stalls, and 12 stalls dedicated to children, with different kids taking turns to run a stall each day to allow more participants and keep the experience fresh. Children's handicrafts were purchased by redeeming special “kiddie money” . In addition to the stalls, there will be stage performances, face painting and a “Trick or Treat” parade at 2 p.m. each day.

Yanlin, the event organizer, explained, “The purpose of this event is to get everyone back to the more authentic interaction we had before. It allows children to learn how to communicate with others and understand money. Parents can put down all electronic devices and focus on playing with their children. Then, children can learn about money-related concepts.”

One parent said that this event helped her daughter learn self-discipline and planning, as well as how to communicate with customers. “ It’s more about discipline and planning,” she said. “ In the beginning they don't know what to say to the people, but after a while they learn what to say, it become more natural for them.”

The “Kiddie CEO Event” aims to bring families together and promote community interaction through fun learning activities. “ First of all, we want everyone to know that families need to interact and have fun together, and family members need to be united. So you will see that many of our activities are designed to require the participation of parents and children together. We hope that parents can put down their electronic products and play with their

children,” Yanlin added.
